The European Day of Languages in Viesite Secondary School
The senior students of our school came together
on 28 September to share their thoughts about the role of languages in our life. Pupils in Viesite Secondary School study three foreign languages: English, Russian and German. Latvian is our native language.
The visitors of this seminar could hear English, Russian, Latvian and even Czech, as two exchange teachers from Frydek-Mistek, the Czech Republic, were staying in our school all the previous week.
The motto of this seminar was The language is a place where a ray meets another ray, a soul meets another soul and a man meets another man.
