| This short document will guide you through the features of our new search interface. |
On the left hand column, there is a list of ‘categories’ that you can search. Once you select a category, a list of ‘criteria’ is displayed in the middle column to help you refine your search. The list of criteria will vary according to the category selected. If you select the category ‘Learning Resources’ for example, the criteria will be ‘country’, ‘language’ and ‘age’. If you don’t want to select any of these criteria, you simply click on ‘Search all’ and ALL the items found in the database for that specific category (in this case ‘Learning Resources’) will appear in the ‘results page’ on a new screen. However, if you select a criteria, , for example ‘Language’, a list of languages will appear on the right hand column from where you can select one (i.e. ‘English’).

If this is the only criterion you want to specify, you then click on ‘Search’ and you obtain the ‘results page’. If you want to select more criteria, simply click on the criteria that appeared in the middle column. You can also change your mind about the criteria you select as many times as you want by simply clicking on the ‘title’ of the criteria (i.e. Language) that appears on the right hand column, and select another one. At the end, you always need to click on ‘Search’. A page with the results of your search appears on a new screen.
