Periodical Historical Atlas of Europe
Periodical Historical Atlas of Europe
Christos Nüssli  10 May 2004

EN | DE | FR | NL
The Periodical Historical Atlas is an original concept which consists in describing the countries throughout their historical evolution, with fixed intervals, independently of the moments considered as prominents but which are often giving a stereotyped or biased image of history.
Thus, this atlas, shows, at regular intervals and without comment, the borders of the European states such as they were at the very end of each century, since year 1 until the year 2000.The user can sail through European time and space, visualize the political sets of this continent and see their evolution.A high-resolution version of these maps is available on CD-ROM.
