home > Committees > Policy Innovation Committee Policy and Innovation Committee (PIC) The Policy and Innovation Committee of the European Schoolnet is a high level grouping of Ministries of Education in Europe and their national agencies for ICT policy implementation in schools, supported by the European Commission. As members they are responsible for providing regular country reports covering operational aspects of key areas of ICT in schools which form the heart of the EUN Insight knowledge base, accessible only to members. The PIC discusses and disseminates on a regular basis innovation in ICT policy, exchanges national updates and defines topics for research on ICT policy and practice, the most recent being a survey and analysis of the use of virtual learning platforms in schools. The PIC advises the EUN on ICT policy and practice and gives regular input to the country reports on ICT in education. PIC comprises nominated representatives of ministries of education in the EUN consortium. PIC meets 2-3 times a year and meetings are usually hosted by members.
