EUN Communities
Author: Santi Scimeca
The EUN communities is a Virtual workspace where teachers, policy-makers, researchers and others can communicate, share files and news articles, discuss in online forums, publish web pages and feel close to each other.
Each community has a name and is administered by a group leader. They also provide information about the members and an instant messaging facility. The area of a community is password-protected, only community members can access its content. Colleagues can meet and discuss professional issues, teachers can invite their classes to improve ICT skills and meet online outside lessons, teachers from different schools use them as a base for collaborative projects, and researchers form groups to discuss their findings
There is no subscription fee for our Communities. They are created principally by visitors to the European Schoolnet website – teachers, researchers, teacher trainers and policy-makers. To get or join a community, fill in the form online form. There is also a set of useful guidelines to read.
