Youth Parliament in Berlin: Energy consumption must be reduced permanently Enabling energy savings, climate protection and further technological progress are issues that are discussed worldwide by decision-makers in politics, science and industry. They were also debated by over 100 young members of the first "Youth Energy Parliament" in the Berliner Abgeordnetenhaus, the local parliament building of Berlin. Read more (PDF file).
Building for a sustainable future: How to reduce energy consumption in housings On 5 November 2007, Dr Matthias Hensel, Director of Luwoge, in Germany hosted a FuturEnergia chat that focused on energy consumption in construction. myEUROPE is a European Schoolnet project. It aims to help teachers raise their pupils' awareness of what it means to be a young citizen in Europe. By involving a network of more than 7000 schools, the diversity of Europe is brought into the classroom via the Internet.
