School competition: European Year of Intercultural Dialogue
VELIKI ODMOR and the Delegation of the European Commission in Croatia are jointly managing a school competition that relates to the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.
The competition encourages teams of three to five students to produce an outcome that focuses on intercultural dialogue.
Some suggestions:
1) identify a topic within the local community that may appeal to students. Analyse, study and describe it, offer some solutions; pick a country that seems interesting and try to find a school with similar problems and solutions, establish the contact; compare two approaches pointing out cultural similarities and differences, create the project (presentation).
2) According to the students' preferences pick a country in Europe, find a school, establish a contact, pick a topic together and make the project with an intercultural approach.
