Situation at Hubertus-Schwartz-Berufskolleg
Students Up to now, there has not been one single student who rejected learning by the PC. Classrooms are filled with enthusiasm when the pupils can use the PC for solving problems and evaluating exams. The feedback given by students indicates that these kinds of lessons should take place more often in schools, for the students recognize e-learning as an essential part of their private and professional world.
Teacher The teacher can use the PC and LOs regularly in a sharp and effective way and obtains a nearly perfect lesson while being able to save his/her voice and health.
School If sufficient places with a PC-connection are available in the classroom (or an organisation of some PC-rooms), it is possible to satisfy the increasing need of e-learning for the students.
Future prospects
E-learning is becoming more and more necessary in daily private and professional work. Conscious of the fact that schools play a key-role in learning by PC/internet, schools should meet this new need and implement a special teacher for organisation. On the other hand, team-teaching is one obligation for teachers in order to reach student-centred approach towards e-learning.
