Revision lessons in form of a small scale projects
Would be possible to make a tour of Europe in seven days? According to a group of students from Hungary the answer is positive. Read their project report (in French).
2005 is not only the Hans Christian Andersen Year, but also the Jules Verne Year. The students from Pécsi Tudományegyetem 1. Számú Gyakorló Általános Iskola Pécs, in Hungary carried out a project to celebrate Jules Verne, his masterpieces and his native language.
This is a relevant example of how revision lessons could be organised in the form of small scale projects involving group of students, with very clear tasks.
Balogh Teréz, their teacher, says: " Nous avons fait ces projets pour célébrer l'année Jules Verne 2005 et aussi, bien sur, pour apprendre le passé composé ". [We run those projects to celebrate the Jules Verne Year and also, of course, to learn the present perfect.]
The project report is written in French and it is in PDF format. To view, save and print this document, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a free application available on this Web site: http://www.adobe.com
