Ana Bello teaches in Spain. Over the past five years she has involved her students in a number of
myEUROPE activities including chats. In this article she reports on a blog activity which gathered together schools from five countries.
The weblog was created by Francisco Pérez, one of the teachers in the secondary school "I.E.S. Fuente Juncal" from Aljaraque, Spain, in March 2006. The blog is one of the activities included in the Comenius School Project called "Interesteen" that we have been running during three years. I am the administrator of the blog and also the project coordinator.
Schools from five different countries, namely Romania, Poland, the UK, Finland and Spain have taken part in the project and have also contributed to the weblog.
The weblog has aimed to create a common space to share articles, ideas, opinions, videos, educational resources and everything else we consider interesting, useful or funny for us, teachers and students.
There are 40 registered members with our blog. We have just found out that people from 28 different countries in Europe, Canada, Mexico, USA and Japan read our articles. We invite you to visit us and post your reactions and ideas to the blog topics. Our Web address is: http://intersteen.webpal.info/
